Procedure

One half gram (1.85 mmole) of chromium chloride (CrCl3) was dissolved in 30 ml of deionized water to get a green solution. 1.5 g (9.2 mmole) of N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) was dissolved in 40 ml of deionized water were added, and the mixture was stirred for 3 hours at 40° C. until the solution turned dark green-blue.
