Vorschrift

(R/S)-Diethyl 3-benzyloxycarbonylamino-1-hydroxypropylphosphonate (0.36 g, 1.04 mmol, from Step A) and palladium on carbon (10%, 0.10 g) were stirred together in methanol (5 mL) under an atmosphere of hydrogen. After 2 h, the reaction was filtered and concentrated in vacuo to give a colorless oil: 1H NMR (500 MHz, CD3OD) δ 4.10-4.22 (m, 4H), 4.00-4.05 (m, 1H), 2.85-3.00 (m, 2H), 1.85-2.00 (m, 2H), 1.34 (t, J=7.0 Hz, 6H); ESI-MS 211.8 (M+H)
