Vorschrift

To a solution of ethanolamine (0.9 g) in ethanol (100 mL) was added a solution of 3′-{N′-[1-(3,4-dimethylphenyl)-3-methyl-5-oxo-1,5-dihydro-pyrazol-4-ylidene]hydrazino}-2′-hydroxybiphenyl-3-carboxylic acid (3 g), prepared as in Example 4, in tetrahydrofuran (40 mL) at about room temperature over about 30 to 40 minutes and stirred for about 3 hours at about room temperature. The mixture was filtered, washed with ethanol (25 mL) and dried in an oven at about 55° C. to about 60° C. for about 12 hours. Yield: 3.7 g
