Vorschrift

To (S)-benzyl 2-((tert-butoxycarbonyl)amino)-3-(pyridin-2-yl)propanoate (0.558 g, 1.57 mmol) was added DCM (2 mL) followed by TFA (2 mL). The reaction mixture was allowed to stand for 1 h at which time it was concentrated to provide (S)-benzyl 2-amino-3-(pyridin-2-yl)propanoate TFA salt (quant. yield) as a yellow oil. MS (EI) for C17H16F3N2O3, found 257.2 [M-TFA]+.
