(R)-tert-butyl 3-ureidopyrrolidine-1-carboxylate from step A was treated with HCl solution (in EtOAc, 30 mL) for 2 hours. The mixture was concentrated in vacuo to give the crude title compound. MS (m/z): 130 (M+H)+.
