Vorschrift

To a solution of tert-butyl 4-{4-[5-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1,2-oxazol-3-yl]-1,3-thiazol-2-yl}piperidine-1-carboxylate (1.70 g) in dichloromethane was added dropwise, at 0° C., a 4 molar solution of hydrogen chloride (4.0 eq.) in 1,4-dioxane. The reaction mixture was stirred at 0° C. and then gradually warmed to room temperature. After stirring overnight, the solvent and excess hydrogen chloride were removed. This gave 4-{4-[5-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1,2-oxazol-3-yl]-1,3-thiazol-2-yl}piperidinium chloride (1.45 g).
