1-(5-(4-Bromo-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)furan-2-yl)-2-methoxy-2-(4-(2-methylthiazol-4-yl)phenyl)ethanone was prepared from 2-(4-bromo-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)furan and N,2-dimethoxy-N-methyl-2-(4-(2-methylthiazol-4-yl)phenyl)acetamide according to the procedure used in Example 30. Purification by chromatography (60% EtOAc/hexanes) gave the product as a off white solid (0.039 g, 10% yield). MS: m/z 528.2 [M+H]+.
