Vorschrift

To a solution of trans-tert-butyl 4-(benzyloxycarbonylamino)-3-(methylsulfonyloxy)piperidine-1-carboxylate (6.0 g, 14 mmol) in dimethyl sulfoxide (40 mL) was added sodium azide (9.11 g, 140 mmol), and the reaction mixture was stirred at 90° C. overnight under N2. The solution mixture was cooled to ˜30° C., diluted with ethyl acetate (˜300 mL), and washed with water (700 mL×3) and brine. The organic layer was dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, filtered and concentrated to the title compound (3.8 g, 72%) as a yellow oil. MS (ES+) C18H25N5O4 requires: 375, found: 276 [M+H−100]+, 373 [M+Na]+.
