Vorschrift

To 1.1 g of 1-[3-chloro-5-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)pyridin-2-yl]ethanone in 20 ml of tetrahydrofuran, 1.6 g of triethylphenylammonium tribromide was added, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 12 hours. After completion of the reaction, the precipitated solid was filtered off through celite, and the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure to obtain 1.3 g of the desired crude product as a pale yellow oil. The oil was used in the next step without further purification.
