Vorschrift

In a 25 ml three necked flask fitted with magnetic stirrer and dropping funnel under inert atmosphere, 1 g (3.1 mmoles) of pure ethyl 1-[1-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)propyl]-7-oxo-4-azepanecarboxylate 29 was dissolved in 5 ml of CH2Cl2. The mixture was cooled down to 0° C., 5 ml of trifluoroacetic acid was added. The mixture was kept at 0° C. under stirring for 24 hours, concentrated to dryness and used as such in the next step.
