Vorschrift

4.9 parts by weight of 2-butyryl-5-cyclooctylcyclohexane-1,3-dione, 1.1 parts by weight of ethoxyamine and 80 parts by volume of ethanol were stirred at room temperature for 12 hours, the solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure, the residue was taken up in 150 parts of dichloromethane, the solution was washed twice with water and dried over sodium sulfate, and the solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure. 2-(1-ethoxyamino-butylidene)-5-cyclooctylcyclohexane-1,3-dione was obtained in 94% yield as an oil (compound no. 1); nD33 : 1.5234.
