The same operation as in Example (160c) was performed using methyl cis(±)-5-(4-{[(benzyloxy)carbonyl]amino}-3-methoxypiperidin-1-yl)-2-methylpyridine-3-carboxylate obtained in Example (171a) (225 mg) and a 10% palladium-carbon catalyst (250 mg), to obtain 113 mg of the title compound as a yellow oily substance. The resulting compound was used for the next reaction without purification.
