The title compound (82.3 mg) was prepared from 0.56 g of 4-oxo-piperidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester, 300 μL of benzylamine, and 0.53 g of 2-chloro-5-(2-nitro-vinyl)-thiophene. MS (ESI): exact mass calculated for C18H17ClN2S, 328.08. found, m/z 329.1 [M+H]+. 1H NMR (500 MHz, CD3OD): 7.36-7.33 (m, 2H), 7.30-7.27 (m, 1H), 7.17-7.15 (m, 2H), 7.12 (s, 1H), 6.89 (d, J=3.8 Hz, 1H), 6.73 (d, J=3.8 Hz, 1H), 5.12 (s, 2H), 4.31 (s, 2H), 3.48 (t, J=6.3 Hz, 2H), 2.84 (t, J=6.3 Hz, 2H).
