According to Example 6, 2-(4-isobutylphenyl) propanoic acid and the methyl ester of acetylaminocinnamic acid were asymmetrically hydrogenated with the Rh- or Ru complexes of (R)-(+)-BINAP-C3 -TS (Table 4).
