The title compound was prepared in a manner similar to that described in Example 2A by using ethyl 2-methyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydroazepino[4,5-b]indole-5-carboxylate and 4-fluorobenzoyl chloride; 1H-NMR (CDCl3): δ 10.44 (1H, br s), 8.01 (1H, s), 7.63 (2H, m), 7.52 (1H, d), 7.39 (1H, d), 7.24 (4H, m), 5.61 (1H, br s), 4.22 (2H, m), 3.43 (1H, dd), 3.10 (1H, dd), 1.19 (3H, t), 1.06 (3H, d); MS (ES): 393 (MH+).
