Vorschrift

5.26 g (0.025 mol) of 2-(4-fluorophenyl)-1,3-dioxane-4,6-dione (m.p.: 166°-167° C.) and 4.15 g (0.025 mol) of veratraldehyde were added to 25 ml of the mixture of formic acid and triethylamine prepared as described in Example 1. The reaction was carried out according to Example 1.
