Vorschrift

Following the procedure as described in Preparation 14, making variations as required to replace ethyl 2-(3-((2,2-difluorocyclopropyl)methyl)-2-oxoimidazolidin-1-yl)-4-methylthiazole-5-carboxylate with ethyl 2-(3-benzyl-2-oxoimidazolidin-1-yl)-4-methylthiazole-5-carboxylate, the title compound was obtained in 84% yield: mp 248-249° C.; 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 7.36-7.22 (m, 5H), 4.47 (s, 2H), 3.97 (t, J=7.5 Hz, 2H), 3.42 (t, J=7.5 Hz, 2H), 2.49 (s, 3H); MS (ES+) m/z 318.3 (M+1).
