2-tert-Butoxy-2-(1-(4-chlorophenyl)-7-(2-cyclopropylethyl)-3-methylnaphthalen-2-yl)acetic acid (92) was prepared using the procedure of Example 87 from 2-tert-butoxy-2-(1-(4-chlorophenyl)-7-(cyclopropylethynyl)-3-methylnaphthalen-2-yl)acetic acid. 1H-NMR: 400 MHz, (CD3OD) δ: 7.73 (d, J=9 Hz, 1H), 7.67 (s, 1H), 7.60 (m, 3H), 7.35 (m, 2H), 7.06 (s, 1H), 5.21 (s, 1H), 2.72 (t, J=7 Hz, 2H), 2.62 (s, 3H), 1.48 (m, 2H), 0.94 (s, 9H), 0.65 (m, 1H), 0.37 (m, 2H), 0.01 (m, 2H). HPLC (Kinetex 2.6u, 50×4.6 mm, 2-100% MeCN/H2O+0.05% HOAc, 5.0 min run): tR (min)=4.02.
