The title compound was prepared from commercially available 4,5-dichloro-1,2-phenylendiamine (109 mg, 0.61 mmol) and 3-[3-(2,6-dimethyl-pyridin-4-yl)-phenyl]-3-oxo-propionic acid tert-butyl ester (Example K15) (200 mg, 0.61 mmol) in xylene (10 ml) under reflux conditions for 2 h according to the general procedure M. Obtained as a light brown solid (173 mg, 69%).
