Vorschrift

3.5 g of 2-nitro-3-hydroxy-6-methylpyridine are placed under a hydrogen pressure in 50 ml of methanol in the presence of 1 gram of palladinized charcoal. The mixture is stirred and filtered. The methanol is evaporated off.
