Vorschrift

To a solution of (S)-1-phenylpropan-1-amine (3.00 g, 14 mmol) in the mixture of methylene chloride (50 mL) and saturated NaHCO3 (50 mL) was added triphosgene (1.40 g, 4.60 mmol) at 0° C. The mixture was stirred for 15 minutes. The organic phase was separated, dried and concentrated to give (S)-(1-isocyanatopropyl)benzene (3.0 g, 88%). 1H NMR (CDCl3): δ=0.93 (q, 3H), 1.81 (m, 2H), 4.50 (m, 1H), 7.13 (m, 2H), 7.22 (m, 1H), 7.50 (m, 2H).
