Vorschrift

5 g of 2-(4-chlorobenzylidene)-5,5-dimethylcylopentanone (prepared in Example 5) was dissolved in 40 ml of ethanol, and 60 mg palladium-carbon (10%) was added to the mixture. The hydrogenation reaction was carried out under normal pressure until theoretical amount of hydrogen was absorbed.
