Vorschrift

5.4 g of the product of Example 3 and 10.8ml of diethylamine were stirred in a closed auto clave at 110° C. for 70 hours and after cooling, the reaction mixture was recovered and evaporated under reduced pressure. The residue was chromatographed over silica and was eluted with a 1-1 ethyl etherpetroleum ether (b.p.= 40°-75° C.) mixture to obtain 3.6 g of N,N-diethyl-7,11-dimethyl-3-oxo-6,10-dodecadienamide in the form of an orange oil.
