Vorschrift

0.54 g. 3-(1-methyl-3-nitro-4-pyrazolyl)-acrylic acid chloride (preparation see Example 2) is dissolved in 20 ml. anhydrous toluene and, while stirring at 25° C., methylamine gas is passed in for about 10 minutes. The precipitated crystals are filtered off with suction, washed with toluene, triturated with water and dried in a vacuum. There is thus obtained 0.43 g. 3-(1-methyl-3-nitro-4-pyrazolyl)-acrylic acid N-methylamide; m.p. 200°-203° C.
