A mixture of 2.2 g (0.0055 mol) of 5-amino-N,N-diethyl-7,10-dimethoxy-2H[1]benzothiopyrano[4,3,2-cd]indazole-2-ethanamine and 1.6 g (0.011 mole) of 3-(β-chloroethyl)-2-oxazolidinone was treated in the manner described in Example 42 to furnish 1.6 g of the title compound, mp greater than 250° C. dec.
