This compound was prepared according to the method described previously using 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (22.1 g, 100 mmole), paraformaldehade (6.3 g, 210 mmole), hydroquinone (5.5 g, 50 mmole), and toluene (150 ml). The final product was a viscous liquid. The yield was 65% of theory.
