Vorschrift

80 ml of a 20% solution of phosgene in toluene are added at 20° C. to 14.1 g of 2-[2-(2-methylthioethoxy)-phenyl]-hydrazinecarboxylic acid methyl ester in 130 ml of toluene. The reaction mixture is subsequently heated for 3 hours at 90° C., and the solvent is then removed. Recrystallisation of the residue in ethyl alcohol yields the compound No. 1.1 of the formula ##STR63## having a melting point of 55°-57° C.
