Vorschrift

To a solution of 32 mg (0.07 mmol) of 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-[2-methyl-1-(5-methyl-2-m-tolyl-oxazol-4-ylmethyl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-indol-5-yl]-propan-2-ol (example 47) in 0.5 mL of toluene were added 29 mg (0.33 mmol) of MnO2 powder and the mixture was stirred at 70° C. for 10 hrs. Filtration and evaporation of the solvent gave 33 mg (quantitative) of 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-[2-methyl-1-(5-methyl-2-m-tolyl-oxazol-4-ylmethyl)-1H-indol-5-yl]-propan-2-ol, grey solid, MS: 483 (MH+).
