Vorschrift

Intermediate (4a) (12.1 g, 26.7 mmol) and NH2OH.HCl (2.4 g, 34.7 mmol) were combined in 80 mL water and 160 mL pyridine and stirred at room temperature overnight. Water (80 mL) was added and the mixture was stirred for 1 hour. The precipitate was filtered and dried to yield 11.7 g of intermediate (4b), which was used in the next step without further purification.
