Following General Procedure O, 6-phenyl-5-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyridine-2-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (Compound 25, 49 mg, 0.13 mmol) in toluene (3 ml), N,N′-dimethylethylenediamine (DMEDA, 13 mg, 0.15 mmol) and trimethylaluminum (0.2 ml, 2.64 mmol, 2 M in toluene) were reacted to produce the title compound as a yellow oil.
