By the operation similar to that in Step 2 of Example 15 except that t-butyl (1R)-2-hydroxy-1-[(methylsulfanyl)methyl]ethylcarbamate (1 g) obtained in Step 1 was used as a starting material and m-cresol was changed to 3-fluorophenol, the title compound (300 mg) was obtained.
