Vorschrift

The procedure of Example 1 was followed using perfluorohexanesulfonyl fluoride (7.90 g, 19.6 mmol), potassium trimethylsilanolate (2.20 g, 17.1 mmol), and dry toluene (50 mL), while heating at 40° for 3.5 h. Potassium perfluorohexanesulfonate (4.9 g, 65% yield) was isolated as a white solid: 19F NMR (methanol) data were closely similar to those reported in Example 23.
