Vorschrift

The procedure of Example 1 was followed using perfluoro-2-methyl-3-oxahexanoyl fluoride (33.2 g, 0.1 mol), sodium trimethylsilanolate (11.2 g, 0.1 mol), dry toluene (200 mL), and 1.5 h of heating at reflux. Sodium perfluoro-2-methyl-3-oxahexanoate (23.1 g, 66% yield) was isolated as a white solid: The 19F NMR data were the same as reported in Example 15. Anal. Calcd. for C6F11NaO3 : C, 19.77; H, 57.33; Na, 7.63. Found: C, 19.56; H, 56.93; Na, 7.80.
