Vorschrift

(S)-2-(4-chlorobenzenesulfonylamino)hexanoic acid (3 g) and ethyl 4-aminophenylacetate (2.116 g) were dissolved in dichloromethane (50 ml). To the solution, N,N'-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (2.43 g) was added, and then the whole was stirred at room temperature overnight under argon. The reaction mixture was concentrated, poured in a saturated saline solution and extracted with ethyl acetate. The combined ethyl acetate layers were washed with a saturated saline solution and dried over Na2SO4. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, and the resulting crude product was recrystallized from ethanol to obtain (S)-2-(4-chlorobenzenesulfonylamino)-N-(4-(ethoxycarbonylmethyl)phenyl)hexanamide (1.493 g).
