Using an analogous method to that described in Example 7, N-(5-iodo-4-methyl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)acetamide was reacted with 5-bromo-2-chloropyridin-3-amine to give the title compound (Method A HPLC: retention time 5.5 minutes) in 25% yield; 1H NMR Spectrum: (acetone-d6) 12.17 (1H, br s); 7.68 (1H, d); 7.20 (1H, d); 5.70 (2H, br s); 2.34 (3H, s); 2.14 (3H, s); Mass Spectrum: M+H+ 283 and 285.
