Using the procedure in Example 1, Step 9, ethyl 3-[4-({2-[2-(2-aminoethyl)-5-chloro-1-(diphenylmethyl)-1H-indol-3-yl]ethyl}sulfonyl)phenyl]propanoate (Example 38, Step 14) was reacted with 1-(2-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-ethanesulfonyl chloride (0.13 g, 0.46 mmol) to afford 3-{4-[2-(1-benzhydryl-5-chloro-2-{2-[1-(2-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-ethanesulfonylamino]-ethyl}-1H-indol-3-yl)-ethanesulfonyl]-phenyl}-propionic acid ethyl ester (0.110 g, 40%).
