Vorschrift

197 mg. 3-(1-methyl-3-nitro-4-pyrazolyl)-acrylic acid (prepared according to Example 1) are neutralized with a dilute aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide. The clear solution is evaporated to dryness and the residue is triturated with isopropanol. After filtering off with suction and washing with diethyl ether, there are obtained 170 mg. of the desired sodium salt; m.p. 306° C. (with foaming).
