Vorschrift

To tert-butyl 1-bromo-8,9-dihydro-3H-pyrazolo[3,4-c][2,7]naphthyridine-7(6H)-carboxylate (0.23 g, 0.43 mmol) was added trifluoroacetic acid (2 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 30 minutes. On completion of the reaction, toluene (3 mL) and 1,4-dioxane (2 mL) were added and the solvents removed under reduced pressure. The crude product, 1-bromo-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-3H-pyrazolo[3,4-c][2,7]naphthyridin-7-ium 2,2,2-trifluoroacetate was obtained as brown foam and was used in the next step without any further purification. LCMS [M+H]: 253.
