Vorschrift

Oxalyl chloride (0.5 ml) was added to a stirred suspension of 4-((4-pyridyl)piperazin-1-yl)benzoic acid in dichloromethane (15 ml), followed by DMF (1 drop). The mixture was stirred for 2 hours and evaporated to dryness to give 4-[(4-pyridyl)piperazin-1-yl]benzoyl chloride which was used immediately.
