Vorschrift

70 mg of the ethyl 1-{9-[(4S,3R,5R)-3,4-dihydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]-6-(cyclopentylamino)purin-2-yl}-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxylate prepared in Example 4A was dissolved in 5 mL of 40% methylamine in water in a sealed tube. The mixture was stirred at 50° C. for 2 hours. A white precipitate formed and was collected by filtration. The collected filtrate was washed with water and ethyl ether to provide the product, (1-{9-[(4S,2R,3R,5R)-3,4-dihydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]-6-(cyclopentylamino)purin-2-yl}(1,2,3-triazol-4-yl))-N-methylcarboxamide ethyl 1-{9-[(4S,3R,5R)-3,4-dihydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]-6-(cyclopentylamino)purin-2-yl}-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxylate.
