(+)-8,9-dichloro-2-(S)-methyl-6-oxo-1,2-dihydro-6H-pyrrolo[3,2,1-ij]quinoline-5-carboxylic acid obtained in Example 6 and 2-methylpiperazine were used as the starting substances, and treated in a manner analogous to Example 8, to give the title compound.
