Vorschrift

In a manner analogous to Example 1(a), starting with 8.3 g (53 mmoles) of 2-fluoro-4-hydroxybenzoic acid treated for 2 hours at 100° C. with 60 ml of allyl alcohol and 1.5 ml of concentrated sulfuric acid, 7.2 g (69% yield) of the expected ester having a melting point of 80°-81° C. are obtained.
