Vorschrift

1-tert-Butylcarbonylmethyl-2-oxo-3-benzyloxycarbonylamino-5-phenyl-8-methoxy-1,3,4,5-tetrahydro-2H-1,5-benzodiazepine (1.11 g) was dissolved in methanol (20 ml), 10% palladium carbon (220 mg) was added, and the mixture was stirred for 2 hours under hydrogen atmosphere. Palladium carbon was removed by filtration, the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure, to thereby obtain 0.82 g of the titled compound as colorless amorphous(Yield: 100%).
