Vorschrift

To a solution of 4-hydroxybenzenesulfonic acid sodium salt (2.81 g, 12.11 mmol) in 50 mL of isopropyl alcohol, 11.8 mL 2N NaOH and 5.56 g (24.2 mmol, 2 eq) of 1-(3-bromo-prop-1-ynyl)-4-chloro-benzene was added. The solution was heated to 70° C. overnight. The reaction was cooled, concentrated in vacuo, filtered and air dried to afford 2.8 g (67%) of 4-[3-(4-chloro-phenyl)-prop-2-ynyloxy]-benzenesulfonic acid, sodium salt.
