Vorschrift

3-(3,3-Dimethyl-butyl)-3-(5-fluoro-benzo[b]thiophene-3-carbonyl)-pyrrolidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester was prepared from 3-(3,3-dimethyl-butyl)-3-[(5-fluoro-benzo[b]thiophen-3-yl)-hydroxy-methyl]-pyrrolidine-1-carboxylic acid tert butyl ester by oxidation with MnO2 using the procedure of step 3 of Example 18.
