Vorschrift

1.2 g of 80% NaH are added to a solution of 2.66 g of 2,2-dimethyl-4-bromo-6-cyanochroman (m.p. 89-92°; obtainable by reduction of 2,2-dimethyl-6-cyano-4-chroma-none with NaBH4 in CH3OH to give oily 2,2-dimethyl-6-cyano-4-chromanol and reaction with PBr3 in toluene at 20°) and 2.5 g of pyridazine-3,6-diol in 70 ml of DMSO and the mixture is stirred at 20° for 3days. After customary working up, 2,2-dimethyl-4-(6-hydroxy-3-pyridazinyloxy)-6-cyanochroman, m.p. 221-224°, is obtained.
