Vorschrift

(2R,3R,4R,5R)-4-(acetyloxy)-2-(6-chloro-9H-purin-9-yl)-5-ethynyltetrahydrofuran-3-yl acetate (104 mg) was treated with 1-hydroxybenzotriazole (136 mg) in dry DMF (3 ml) for 45 h at 22° C. The mixture was poured into ice cooled 1M hydrochloric acid (50 ml) and extracted with dichloromethane (3×25 ml); the organic layers were washed with water (20 ml) and saturated aqueous sodium bicarbonate (20 ml), dried (MgSO4) and evaporated in vacuo to give a colourless gum (148 mg).
