The procedure was carried out as described previously in step (a) of Example 5 with Compound 5 (0.42 g, 1.88 mmol), POCl3 (355 μL, 3.76 mmol), and DMF (3.5 mL). Compound 6 was obtained (0.36 g) as a viscous liquid and used without any further purification. The structure of Compound 6 is given below:
