The title compound (1.24 g) was prepared from 2-amino-2-(1,2,3-thiadiazol-4-yl)acetic acid hydrochloride [Example 3(a)] (912 mg) and 4-ethyl-2,3-dioxopiperazin-1-ylcarbonyl chloride (953 mg) by the method of Example 1(a).
