Vorschrift

To a solution of 2-amino-2-cyanacetamide (8 g, 0.08 mol) in pyridine (10 mL) is added a solution of benzoyl chloride (0.08 mol) in pyridine (15 mL) and the mixture is stirred at rt for 40 min. It is then concentrated under reduced pressure to provide crude product which is used in the next step without further purification.
